Ultraman

I really like Ultraman, but not all of them.
When I was young, the first Ultraman I watched was Ace Ultraman. I still remember a few people riding bicycles transforming into a monster and battling Ace Ultraman. Since then, I’ve liked Ace Ultraman.
The first Ultraman DVD my dad bought for me was Leo Ultraman. It is a disc-shaped biological monster, and Leo has a strange symbol on his chest, which looks like a big mouth /æ/ in phonetics. So I liked Leo and also liked the /æ/ phonetic symbol.
Afterwards, I watched the Ultraman DVDs of Ultra Seven at my friends’ houses. Ultra Seven was beaten up badly, so I was a little angry with him and thought he was weak, but I still liked him, Ultra Seven.
Later on, it became more convenient to access more Ultramans. There were Ultraman cup noodles with Smait’s Ultraman, and more Ultraman DVDs. However, they left a deep impression on me, those three.
Although I am no longer a child now, my childhood favorites remain the same.
But I don’t accept the later Ultramans. I don’t like the name of Tiga (it sounds a little like a scab), and I don’t like the names of other Ultramans that I forget once I hear them (although the name Belial isn’t hard to remember).
I am still the same me, just a little grown up.
I don’t reject the new Ultramans, it’s just that they didn’t appear at the right age for me.
At this age of mine, I no longer have the feeling of accepting new Ultramans.
I’ve started to like other things.
Maybe the things I like now are something I couldn’t have imagined yesterday.
So what will my future in the present of yesterday’s me be like?
